Celebrate Recovery This September: Pirate Springs Announces “Recovery in the Refuge” Festival in Cleveland, TN
CLEVELAND, TN — September 19, 2026 — In celebration of National Recovery Month, Pirate Springs is proud to host the first annual “Recovery in the Refuge” Festival on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The free, family-friendly community event will take place from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at the newly opened Rustic Refuge Recovery Community Center, located at 693 Kinser Rd. SE Cleveland, TN 37323.
National Recovery Month celebrates the gains made by those in recovery from substance use and mental health challenges. This year, Pirate Springs is opening the doors of the Rustic Refuge to bring Bradley County together for a day of hope, connection, and joy.
The festival will feature:

Food Truck Roundup: Local favorites serving up incredible street eats, comfort food, and refreshing specialty drinks.
• 
Recovery Resource Vendor Fair: A massive gathering of local health providers, peer support groups, harm reduction resources, and community allies.
• 
Family Fun & Activities: Live music, inspirational guest speakers, family-friendly games, and giveaways throughout the day.
“Recovery doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens in community,” says Paul Hook at Pirate Springs. “The Rustic Refuge was built to be a safe haven for growth and connection. We invite everyone—whether you are in recovery, love someone who is, or simply want to support a stronger Bradley County—to come out and celebrate with us.”
Admission to the event is completely free. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and an appetite to support our local food trucks.
